Father’s day was spent on a river in Asheville. We were greatly looking forward to eating at a restaurant called Baby Bull but, sadly, they were closed. The little one wrote me a book with various facts about me (as written by her). She thinks I weigh 100 lbs and that my favorite drink is hot sauce. +pt
We went and watched some live music. Local band Brother Oliver was playing, of which I’m a big fan (give them a Google, if you’re not familiar). They were playing at a joint surprisingly close to where we live and it was the tiny human’s first concert! She had a good time and we even got pizza!
…park. Unity Park in Greenville. It’s only been open a month and we got to experience it for the first time. There was a splash pad, with water. It also had some umbrellas. There was as playground area, with hills and turf. It was a neat park. Definitely not your average playground for kids.
The little one got to experience her first movie in a theater. I really thought it’d be the Mario movie, but we still are not sure when that’ll be out. This one was pretty good though. Her first movie was in a clean, non-crowded theater, with reclining seats. What a great first experience!
This little lady had her second dance recital. She did such a great job and we’re so proud. It was a great improvement over her last recital, where her dance routine was completely independent of the rest of her class’.
The tiny human that lives with me graduated kindergarten today. Well, I guess today was more of an awards day. There’s still a week left of school. She received her certificate and was also presented with a math award. I’m proud, mom is proud, but the dog doesn’t really care.
